Disclaimer: The Jamat is encouraged to be cautious if they receive, either by telephone, mail, text message or email, a fraudulent communication that claims to be from the Jamati Services Fund (JSF), the Aga Khan Council for Canada or Local Councils (the “Institutions”). In order to process, adjust or confirm your JSF contribution, the Institutions will direct you to the JSF website or ask you to call the Council for Canada in order to complete this process, where your credit card information or banking information may be requested. The Institutions will never ask for information about your: Passport, Health Card, or Driver’s Licence. If you have received a call and are not sure of the caller’s true identity, you should not provide any personal information, including your telephone number. Instead, you can call the Council for Canada to address your concerns.
